ONLINE MEETING: Guest Speaker Sarah Bentley - founder of Made In Hackney

We are very pleased to have as our guest speaker Sarah Bentley. She is an author, podcast host, campaigner, keynote speaker, and the founder of vegan community cookery school and charity Made In Hackney. Sarah no longer works at the helm of Made In Hackney but is a proud ambassador for the charity and is the author of their debut book - We Cook Plants – which features over 100 global recipes alongside important discussions around food justice, sustainability and veganism. She now spends her days home-schooling her son, teaching Special Educational Needs students food growing, and working part-time as a Campaign Manager at Plant-Based Health Professionals UK managing the Plants First Initiative which supports healthcare settings to adopt a plant-rich food culture.
