Our Mission Is To Connect Animal Supporters 🐠

There are millions of people who care about farmed animals. People all over the world have learned about the horrors of factory farming, the immense suffering that it causes, and the solution—ending factory farming.

But most of these people are disconnected. That's what Connect For Animals is going to change.

We Believe Connection Leads to Impact for Animals 🐮

Steps to making an impact: connection, learning, and impact

Connection is the first step towards having an impact. That's what we believe, at least, and there's good evidence to support that.

When you care about farmed animals and see how terrible factory farming is, this can become a deep ethical value. It can feel isolating if you don't know anyone who shares this value of helping animals—and it's empowering and fulfilling to make connections with other people who care.

Not only is connection what we need as humans, but it also opens up the door for advocacy opportunities. Connecting with others who want to help end factory farming gives us the inspiration, knowledge, and ability to make a difference.

FAQs 🦃

What is Connect For Animals in a nutshell?

Imagine Meetup.com + Bumble BFF + LinkedIn—but specifically for people who care about helping farmed animals.

You can find events, connections, and advocacy opportunities based on your skills, your interests, and other pieces of your life that are important to you.

Why not just use Facebook or Meetup?

Platforms like Facebook and Meetup can be great, but we think there's a lot more opportunity that comes with having a space that is dedicated to people who want to help end factory farming. We aim to create a social network, not social media.

By putting all of the relevant events, people, and advocacy opportunities in one easy-to-find place, we can make it much easier for people to help animals.

Is this a vegans-only platform?

Nope! The only requirement is that you want to help end factory farming and bring about a world where the interests of animals are considered.

We think being vegan is a great way to reduce your personal contribution to animal suffering, and we fully encourage it. (And all events on the platform must be plant-based food only.)

But we want to end factory farming and animal exploitation globally, and that means not just focusing on individual behavior change.
