About Connect For Animals

Connect For Animals is a nonprofit platform for people who want to help end factory farming.

Our mission is to find, connect, and empower every person globally who wants to help end factory farming. By doing that, we believe we can accelerate the end of factory farming and work to bring about a more antispeciesist world.

You can use Connect For Animals to find pro-animal events, organizations, people, and ways to take action.

Factory farming causes an enormous amount of unnecessary suffering, and we believe that ending factory farming is one of the most pressing issues of our time. But factory farming, and animal exploitation in general, is deeply entrenched in society, which makes it very difficult to end.

Thanks to growing awareness, there are millions of people globally who already want to help end factory farming—but most of these people are disconnected from each other and don’t know how to take action in ways that are right for them. This leads to isolation, demotivation, recidivism, and lost impact.

We realized that by connecting and empowering these millions of pro-animal people, we could vastly accelerate the end of factory farming.

Connect For Animals got its official start in January 2022, launched by our founder Steven Rouk in the sunny state of Colorado. From there, we expanded throughout the United States, eventually becoming an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the fall of 2023. 🎉

Right now, Connect For Animals is the easiest way to keep up-to-date with pro-animal events: local events, virtual events, and big conferences. At these events, you can meet others, learn about advocacy, and start taking action. We think that going to pro-animal events is one of the single fastest ways to get deeply connected to the movement.

We also have an extensive database of pro-animal organizations all around the world, from large international nonprofits to small local Meetup groups and grassroots activist communities. Connect For Animals is one of the best resources for finding pro-animal organizations to get involved with.

And as time goes on, Connect For Animals will help users get connected to the movement in more and more ways, always focusing on our mission of helping people find their place in the movement for animals.
