About this event
Join Compassionate Action for Animals for a fun evening at Brianno’s Chart House to try their Caribbean Vegan Bowl — with a jerk-spiced black bean patty, jerk plant-based beef crumble, cilantro lime rice with Argentinian chimichurri, fire-roasted corn salsa, avocado chimi-mousse, and pepitas. It was so popular during the Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge that they kept on the menu permanently! What to expect: This is a casual, social evening centered around good vegan food and community. Why dine out with us? When we gather at restaurants offering vegan options, we’re showing them there’s a customer base for good, plant-based food. Plus, it’s a great way to discover restaurants committed to offering compassionate choices. About the Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge: Each August, restaurants across the Twin Cities create new vegan dishes for this month-long competition. The 2025 Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge drew over 1,600 votes from diners across the metro! Who should come?Anyone who loves trying new restaurants and great foodPeople curious about plant-based eating (you don’t need to be vegan!)Folks looking to meet friendly community membersAnyone who wants to support restaurants offering more vegan choicesAbout Compassionate Action for Animals: We’re a Minnesota nonprofit working to encourage people to embrace their empathy for farmed animals and move toward a plant-based diet.
