Celebrate Vegan Chef Challenge Success at Food on the Fly

Join Compassionate Action for Animals for a fun afternoon at Food on the Fly to try their Crispy Chicken Rice Bowl — with crispy, house-made mock-chicken strips, chili oil aioli, cucumber, pickled daikon, edamame, pickled onion, fermented bean sprouts, and fermented purple cabbage. It was so popular during the Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge that they kept on the menu permanently! What to expect: This is a casual, social afternoon centered around good vegan food and community. Why dine out with us? When we gather at restaurants offering vegan options, we’re showing them there’s a customer base for good, plant-based food. Plus, it’s a great way to discover restaurants committed to offering compassionate choices. About the Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge: Each August, restaurants across the Twin Cities create new vegan dishes for this month-long competition. The 2025 Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge drew over 1,600 votes from diners across the metro!
