About this event
We couldn't predict these water levels ahead of time, but due to the heavy rainfall, we'll have extremely fun, high water levels in the Shenandoah River! It's a rare opportunity to have these levels combined with early fall warm water, making it the best time for a Whitewater Rafting event! This trip is not for the faint of heart and will definitely be a wild ride! The water will be at least double normal flow! This Sunday, we will embark on a 6.5 mile journey together in the Blue Ridge Mountains, starting on the Shenandoah River and ending on the Potomac River. Both rivers are a sight to behold. This lovely and lively stretch of water is home to a great variety of bird species (including huge bald eagles) and runs through Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. The rivers' rich history can be viewed right along side the many unique river features, all creating what the wildlife calls home.
