About this event

How far has the vegan movement come, what have we learned, and what will it take to create a kinder world for animals? Join Jewish Vegan Life’s DC Tikkun Circle, Veg Society of DC, and Farm Animal Rights Movement for a special World Vegan Day dinner featuring Dr. Alex Hershaft, founder of the Farm Animal Rights Movement (FARM). A Holocaust survivor and pioneering animal advocate, Dr. Hershaft will share lessons from decades of activism and challenge us to rethink our approach to animal advocacy. We'll explore progress in plant-based food innovation, public awareness, advocacy, and policy, and discuss where the movement should go next. Enjoy a vegan meal, connect with a compassionate community, and take part in a conversation about creating a better future for animals.
