Join The Humane League at Boston Veg Food Fest! There are some exciting things happening in Boston, and this is a great time to get involved with the local team! THL recently kicked off our campaign calling on CJ Group to make meaningful progress for hens in its supply chain. Now we need people in Boston to help us build momentum and get more people involved. Boston Veg Food Fest brings together people who care about animals, plant-based food, and making a difference, making it a great opportunity to connect with our community. We'll be talking with festival attendees about the CJ Group campaign, asking people to take direct action calling on CJ Group to do better for hens, and inviting people who want to do even more to get involved with the Boston team. 📅 Saturday, October 17 & Sunday, October 18 📍 Reggie Lewis Athletic Center 1350 Tremont Street, Boston, MA We're splitting the weekend into shifts, so you do NOT need to commit to being there all day. Sign up for whatever shift works best for you! During your shift, you'll help: • Talk with festival attendees about the CJ Group campaign • Help people take direct action calling on CJ Group to do better for hens • Connect with people who are interested in getting more involved with the Boston team No previous tabling or volunteer experience is necessary. We'll make sure you have everything you need, and you'll be tabling alongside other volunteers. And Veg Food Fest is just the beginning! We're also preparing for our first Boston protest of the CJ Group campaign later in October, so there will be even more opportunities to take action soon. Whether you've been involved with the Boston team before or have been looking for your first opportunity to jump in, we'd love to have you join us. Let's use Veg Food Fest to show CJ Group that people in Boston are ready to speak up for hens!
