🌱 VIGIL TO SANCTUARY DAY 🌱

- 🌱Vigil to Sanctuary🌱 On Friday the 20th of November, our team will be attending a vigil at ABP Slaughterhouse in Langport... we understand that these types of events are not for everyone. So please only join us if you feel you are emotionally able.. this is a joint event following a visit to Pear Tree Farm Animal Sanctuary for a volunteer afternoon, and to be with the animals. If you can make the vigil, this will start at around 7:30am.. usually we leave around around 12:30pm. We will go straight from Langport to the sanctuary for 1pm.. where the beautiful ladies who run it will give us a list of jobs to do for the animals. You'll have time to go and meet them all.. If you can only make the sanctuary, meet us in the sanctuary carpark at 1pm... There will be a social and a weather dependant fire at our retreat in Glastonbury that evening.. so if you're traveling far, there will be an opportunity to stay the night to save you traveling back. What to bring... packed lunch, rain coat, winter wear, wellies, also any apples and carrots for the pigs, sheep and goats if you'd like to feed them.. We hope you can make it! Address for vigil is the local carpark that we meet at prior to the short walk.. Message Georgie on the number below for location. Address for Sanctuary below... Pear Tree Farm Animal Sanctuary Wells Rd, Yarley, Wells BA5 1LR If anyone gets lost.. please call Georgie on 07515646756 📍 Event Info - Please RSVP so the organizer can plan the venue, space, and activities accordingly. 🧠 Prepare & Get Involved - Feel free to bring friends or anyone interested in our community—it’s a perfect opportunity for them to meet us!
