About this event
You’re invited to TWO special West Coast events in October!
Plan to be a part of an impactful fundraising weekend to strengthen PCRM’s work to end animal experiments, advance human-relevant research, and advocate for policies that save both animal and human lives. Come to one (or both!) of these memorable gatherings featuring beautiful scenery, compassionate community, inspiring speakers, and exceptional food—all enjoyed while supporting our shared vision of building a brighter future for all.
THE MOUNTAIN - SAN MARTIN, CALIF.
Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026
Moose Mountain Vineyard
4-7 p.m.
Gather with us at the breathtaking Moose Mountain Vineyard, hosted by Dr. Rich Schmidt. Enjoy sweeping views, warm hospitality, and meaningful conversations as PCRM Founder and President Dr. Neal Barnard and Director of Research Advocacy Ryan Merkley share exciting exclusive updates on our work. We'll also celebrate fellow visionary Ocean Robbins of Food Revolution Network and his late father, John Robbins, as recipients of the 2026 Voice of Compassion Award. You won't want to miss this inspiring evening in such a spectacular setting on the mountain!
THE VALLEY - ENCINO, CALIF.
Sunday, Oct. 11, 2026
Private Residence
4-7 p.m.
The weekend continues in Southern California at the beautiful private home of longtime Physicians Committee supporters in Encino. Along with updates from Dr. Barnard and Ryan Merkley, we will honor acclaimed restaurateur and friend Chef Tal Ronnen with our 2026 Vegan Visionary Award in recognition of his decades-long commitment to elevating plant-based cuisine and inspiring compassionate dining. An intimate and inspirational evening awaits you in the valley!
