Volunteer Day at Central Texas Pig Rescue

Spend a morning with the Austin Vegan Association at Central Texas Pig Rescue, a sanctuary that’s home to more than 200 rescued animals. Lend a hand with some outdoor projects, meet the residents, and spend time with fellow animal lovers. 💚 🎟️ FREE, but registration is required: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/austin-vegan-association-volunteer-day-at-central-texas-pig-rescue-tickets-2003011671830?aff=oddtdtcreator&keep_tld=true No experience needed. There are jobs for every ability level, and the sanctuary’s team will guide us. 👟 Dress for dirt: closed-toe shoes, clothes you don’t mind getting muddy, a hat, sunscreen, and a water bottle. 🥕 Bringing treats? The sanctuary welcomes fresh produce for the animals. Check the Eventbrite page for what’s best to bring, and skip the stickers and plastic bags! Come for the good work, stay for the good company. 🐽 Call or text if you need help finding us: 512-481-2730 This event is sponsored by the Austin Vegan Association. Whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, or just veg-curious, you’re welcome to join us! No AVA membership needed. This event is free and open to all!
