RPAH, Vigil for Primate & other Laboratory Animals

Join us for our monthly Vigil as we raise awareness about the suffering caused by animal experimentation and where we advocate for proven, animal-free science alternatives. We are calling on the Australian Government to fund the phase-out of animal testing and to invest in modern, human-relevant science that is safer, more effective, and cruelty-free. Stand against Xenotransplantation. Xenotransplantation is the medical procedure of transferring living cells, tissues, or organs from one species into a recipient of a different species, typically from an animal to a human. Advocate for funding the alternatives. Guard against zoonotic disease. Save animal and human lives. Meet at 50 Missenden Rd, on the footpath outside the hospital's main entrance. Corflutes (signs) and flyers will be provided. This event is NOA approved. Together, we can help create a future where science advances without animal suffering.
