About this event
๐ฅ You are invited to TWO ACTIONS in ONE DAYโ๏ธ
**Double your impact! We are excited to collaborate with our friends at Mercy for Animals for TWO pressure campaigns on September 19, 11am to 2pm to accomplish these two actions together.**
๐ข Join us to show up for and defend the millions and millions of egg-laying hens and broiler chickens that suffer in horrific factory farms as a result of very greedy massive companies. ๐ง
๐ฅ Egg-laying hens live in very small dirty wire cages where they lose their mind and they cannot express natural behaviors like foraging and dust bathing. Broiler chickens grow so large so fast that their fragile legs cannot bear the weight of their overweight bodies and often times experience fractures. ๐
These chickens live a life filled with misery and we need YOU to show up and demand CJ Group and Compass Group that this extreme animal cruelty must END.

**Study the schedule below:**
Action 1: Tous Les Jours Bakery Cafรฉ: 11am-12pm
๐ 2736 W Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90006
We'll kick things off with a demo outside Tous Les Jours, targeting parent company CJ Group. We're calling on CJ Group to lead the way in South Korea with a global cage-free policy for all egg-laying hens in their supply chain โ no more hens locked in cages that don't let them even spread their wings.
Action 2: The GRAMMY Museum: 1pm-2pm
๐ 800 W Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90015
From there, we'll head to the GRAMMY Museum to speak with guests about Compass Group's failure to take real, concrete steps to eliminate "Frankenchickens" โ fast-growing chicken breeds bred for size over welfare โ from their supply chain.
How you can help:
There's a role for everyone, no experience needed:
๐ฃ๏ธ Speak out or lead chants
๐ค Interview guests on camera
๐ Hand out leaflets
๐ธ Film or take photos for social media
Parking details will be posted closer to the event โ check back soon!
Come for one stop or both โ every voice makes a difference for animals. ๐๐ฅ
