What do I do?
No experience needed: if you can pass someone a leaflet or hold a sign, you can do this, and we'll show you the rest when you arrive. Come for an hour or stay for the whole thing. It's a peaceful and friendly protest — some of us hold images, some hand out leaflets, and some have calm conversations with passers-by. You're never obliged to do the talking, and if you do and a question comes up that you're not sure how to answer, you can simply point the person to the organiser or wave them over.
If you have any questions, just tap the "Contact the Host" button to ask.
Why are we asking people to take a break from Pret?
Pret made a public promise to stop using frankenchickens. Their 2026 deadline is here, and 100% of the chicken in their food is still frankenchicken. Frankenchickens are the industry's fastest-growing breeds of chicken, bred to pile on weight so fast that many can barely walk by five or six weeks old, their hearts and legs giving out under their own size. Pret committed to phase them out eight years ago but are sitting on their hands. So we're outside Pret, telling their customers what Pret won't.
