Critter Creek’s October Farmer’s Mooket!

The pigs’ favorite season is coming up, pumpkin season! Which also means our spookiest moo-ket of the year is just around the corner! Join us Sunday, October 11th from 12pm-4pm! Vendors will be handing out plant-based treats to kiddos *while supplies last*! Costumes are encouraged! What to expect- An event for the public to shop local vendors, enjoy delicious food , and meet rescued sanctuary residents! This is a family friendly event, with activities for children. Leashed pups also welcome, though please be mindful of the weather if your dog is sensitive to heat! No sanctuary resident is forced to interact with guests! All animals have the right to go to human-free zones whenever they like! Where? 12626 County Rd-231Gainesville, FL 32609United States Cost? A suggested $5 donation at the door is appreciated, but not required! As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we heavily rely on donations to keep the mission running, so anything helps tremendously! *Important* Know before you go! - Closed-toe shoes are highly recommended, and required to enter our pig pastures! Our pig pastures close at 3:30pm or earlier as the residents tend to get excited for dinner at this time. We recommend coming early if your priority is meeting the pigs! - A water refill station is available, bringing your own reusable water bottle is encouraged! - There are no paved roads or walkways on the grounds. Please anticipate grassy and possibly muddy terrain. Please keep this in mind if bringing a stroller or mobility aid. - The event is subject to being cancelled/rescheduled if the weather is projected to be stormy for the safety of guests.
