Viva! Outreach London - Gasping for life

Our Vegan Outreach Stall, will be focusing on VIVA's 'Gassed' campaign this month, highlighting the plight of pigs. We'll be talking to the public about the fate of 9 million of these intelligent animals that are killed every year in the UK. Pigs are lowered in crates and subjected to CO2 gas which renders them unconscious. The gas burns from the inside, causing excruciating pain to their lungs, skin and eyes. We will have lots of information about how to make food choices without exploiting animals and supporting this cruel industry. When: Saturday 24th October Where: Leicester Square London (near the Harry Potter statue) Time: 11.30 - 14.00 If you would like to join us in being a voice for the animals and be part of the Viva! Outreach team please see link below: https://viva.org.uk/viva-volunteer-community/ For more information or help going vegan please check out Viva! - https://viva.org.uk
