About this event

An online fundraising workshop for animal advocacy nonprofit leaders and professionals who steward individual donors. ABOUT THE WORKSHOP Is asking for money hard for you, even when it's part of your job? You're not the only one. In the animal advocacy world, many of us came to this work because we care deeply about animals, not because we're comfortable asking people for money. In this hands-on session, Unny Nambudiripad draws on more than 25 years in the nonprofit sector to explore where that discomfort comes from, your relationship with money, the beliefs you bring into the room, and how to become more comfortable making bold asks. You’ll do exercises, work through a worksheet, and have real conversations. Breakout groups may be used if there’s a crowd. You’ll leave with something concrete to keep using. WHO IT'S FOR Executive directors, board chairs, fundraising leads, and anyone who stewards individual donor relationships. The workshop focuses on one-on-one and small-group asks—not grants or institutional funding.
