About this event
Kroger, the parent company of Harris Teeter, made a public promise to transition to 100% cage-free eggs. But right now, they are failing to follow through on that commitment, leaving millions of hens suffering in cramped cages. It’s time to hold them to their word!
A board member of Kroger's, Kevin Brown, also sits on the board of George Washington University. Join us to protest their affiliation with an animal abuse scandal. We’ll be holding signs, passing out leaflets and educating students about what the animal suffering due to GW's complicity. After we leaflet, we'll head over to a local spot for vegan dinner.
Corporate promises don't mean anything without corporate accountability. Come help us make sure Kroger gets the message loud and clear!
