Matthews, NC: Demand Accountability from Harris Teeter for Animal Cruelty

Harris Teeter and its parent company Kroger have failed to make meaningful progress to eliminate cruel cages from their egg supply chain. Massive companies like McDonald's, Subway, and Costco are leaving them in the dust when to comes to animal welfare. We're going to make it clear that this is utterly unacceptable. This will be a peaceful and legally permitted demonstration. Hearing protection is recommended as we'll be using noisemakers like megaphones, whistles, and horns. A second protest will be held later in the day. No previous activism or protest experience needed.
