Washington, DC: End Cages at Harris Teeter (Kroger)

Kroger, the parent company of Harris Teeter, made a public promise to transition to 100% cage-free eggs. But right now, they are failing to follow through on that commitment, leaving millions of hens suffering in cramped cages. It’s time to hold them to their word! Join us for a protest outside of the NoMa Harris Teeter. We’ll be holding signs, chanting, passing out leaflets, and educating shoppers about what is actually happening behind the scenes of their egg supply. Corporate promises don't mean anything without corporate accountability. Come help us make sure Kroger gets the message loud and clear! 🐔🐮🐷 By attending this and any other The Humane League event, you agree to adhere to The Humane League's Safer Spaces Policy. Thank you for creating an uplifting and supportive space for all activists in our community! The Humane League exists to end the abuse of animals raised for food by influencing the policies of the world’s biggest companies, demanding legislation, and empowering others to take action and leave animals off their plates. thehumaneleague.org
