Lighthouse Sanctuary Work Party & Potluck

Come out for some good old-fashioned barn cleaning and snuggle up with sanctuary friends at Lighthouse. Your presence makes a tangible difference in their lives! This month we’ll also have a vegan potluck. What to expect: > A quick opening circle to connect & orient> A few hours of dirty work (scooping straw & wheeling it out to the compost, laying fresh bedding, other maintenance projects)> Sharing food with each other and the animals Bring: Water, vegan food to share (the animals love produce, too!) Wear: Clothing for the weather and boots to handle mud, masks for dust Safety: Avian Influenza is still among us. If you have contact with other birds, disinfect your shoes and clothes before and after the visit with bleach or something stronger!
