Dosas are back in Braunton, and this time we are popping up at the most talked about cafe in town, FromAmelie. September means the town gets a bit quieter — summer crowds gone, kids back at school, everyone's routines settling back into place. Feels like the right time to slow down over a proper dosa and a good coffee Never tried a dosa before? They are savoury rice and lentil crepes, fermented for 18-24 hours to develop that distinctive umami taste. Naturally Vegan & Gluten-Free and served the classic South Indian way — with sambar, kaara chutney and mint chutney. We will be firing up our griddle at FromAmelie on Friday 5th September from 10am, cooking fresh dosas to order alongside their coffee. No bookings — it's first come, first served. Last time we popped up in Braunton we sold out within 2 hours, so get there early if you don't want to miss out.
