Dine Out @ Food on the Fly: Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge

Join CAA for a dine out at Food on the Fly! All are warmly welcome. Where: Food on the Fly, 900 2nd Ave S #110, Minneapolis, MN 55402 When: Tuesday, August 25, noon-1pm We’re getting together. YOU’RE invited! We'll order our food and then sit together at the long table in the center of the building. No RSVP Required, Just Join Us! Food on the Fly is a current participant in the Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge and placed third in last year's event. They have an incredible dish entered in the competition that we’re holding a dine-out to try. We’ll also take a simple optional action together at the event to help animals, like calling our reps or signing a petition. After that, we’ll rate the food, and your rating will help us see how it stacks up against the many other restaurants in the competition! What’s the food? We’ll all be trying out their 2026 Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge dish. The Vegan Bulgogi Plate is seared house-made bulgogi with fried onions and a soy mirin glaze. It's served with Jasmine rice and leaf lettuce, along with sides of house kimchi, pickled daikon radish, and marinated cucumbers. What is the Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge? Each August, restaurants around the Twin Cities add a new vegan dish to the menu. Diners visit restaurants and rate each dish they try. These ratings will be used to determine the winners! We’ll crown the winning chef at a ceremony on Sunday, September 20, at Twin Cities Veg Fest at Harriet Island Park in Saint Paul. Who is competing this year?
