About this event
π± WORLD VEGAN DAY: 50 YEARS OF ADVOCACY. WHAT'S NEXT?
How far has the vegan movement come, what have we learned, and what will it take to create a kinder world for animals?
Join Jewish Vegan Lifeβs DC Tikkun Circle, VSDC and FARM for a special World Vegan Day dinner featuring Dr. Alex Hershaft, founder of the Farm Animal Rights Movement (FARM).
A Holocaust survivor and pioneering animal advocate, Dr. Hershaft will share lessons from decades of activism and challenge us to rethink our approach to animal advocacy. We'll explore progress in plant-based food innovation, public awareness, advocacy, and policy, and discuss where the movement should go next.
Enjoy a vegan meal, connect with a compassionate community, and take part in a conversation about creating a better future for animals.
Presented by Jewish Vegan Life, the Veg Society of DC, and FARM. Register now and be part of the conversation!
To receive the exact location of the get-together, please register on Jewish Vegan Life's website at https://jewishveganlife.org/events/dc-world-vegan-day. Registration is free. Guests purchase their own meal.
