Q&A with WDFW Commissioner Woody Myers

The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) Commission is responsible for setting much of the policy for how wildlife and wildlands are managed in Washington State.It is vital for Commissioners to hear from Animal Advocates, as most of the voices they hear from are folks in the hunting community. He earned his bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology from the University of Idaho and did graduate work at WSU Spokane. During his career, he was a regular guest lecturer in wildlife classes at Washington State University and Eastern Washington University.
