We'll gather at 12pm for a pizza lunch before we launch into the workshop. This training will focus on chanting and chant-leading, led by DxE LA organizer Katelyn Dietz. Learn how to unify fellow activists in raising our voices for the voiceless. After the workshop, we will put these skills to work at the Burbank World Cup Fan Zone (THL protest against Unilever) and Trader Joe's (DxE protest against Perdue's Petaluma Poultry). All levels of experience are welcome. Pizza, snacks, and refreshments will be provided. Unilever has not fulfilled its GLOBAL 100% cage-free egg commitment. This failure causes millions of egg-laying hens to suffer inside nightmarish and cruel cages in egg factory farms. Hens are trapped in very small spaces where they can barely move and have no way out. They are covered in their own waste and the waste of the caged hens that suffer in cages right above them.
