Join us for **a peaceful protest** at the **Fred Meyer** in Hollywood to urge Kroger (their parent company) to make meaningful progress to eliminate battery cages ⛏️‍💥 from their supply chain. 📅 Saturday, July 11 3:00-4:00 PM 📍 Fred Meyer Hollywood West (3030 NE Weidler St, Portland, OR 97232) This event is the first local protest in a nationwide campaign to exert pressure on Fred Meyer's parent company, Kroger ([🔗 Kroger Doesn't Care](https://krogerdoesntcare.com/#issues)). In 2016, Kroger pledged to go fully cage-free by 2025. It's 2026 and hens are still crammed in cages, each with barely the space of a sheet of paper, unable to move, unable to live, unable to spread their wings.
