First Friday Five Minute Cooking Demos

For the First Friday in July, the American Vegan Center is showing how quick and easy delicious vegan food can be. American Vegan Society staff and volunteers perform 5 minute cooking demos on the half hour (6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30). Visitors can enjoy the whole evening or drop in anytime for some fun tips, food, and socializing. All recipes will be available on a handout. 6:00 pm Najmeh Namjoo – Mirza Ghasemi 6:30 pm Vickie Collette- Black Bean and Corn Salad 7:00 pm Clint Dinshah – Surprise Dish 7:30 pm Taslim “Taz” Patterson – Penne with Alfredo Samples will be available to taste after each demo, plus other foods. Come join the fun! Free, but donations are always appreciated!
