About this event
๐ End Unilever's Fowl Play โฝ
๐ข Calling all animal activists! Join us at the FIFA World Cup Fan Zone at Bayfront Park to protest Unilever - a major sponsor of the World Cup.
Unilever abandoned their commitment to use 100% cage-free eggs globally by 2025 and continues to profit from hens kept in cruel battery cages โ๏ธโ๐ฅ in their supply chains across the globe. Unilever calls this a shift in priorities. We call it FOWL PLAY and will let them know it is unacceptable.
๐
Date: Saturday, June 27
โฐ Time: 5pm ET
๐ Location: Meet outside Miami World Cup FIFA Fan Zone at Bayfront Park, 301 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33132 - at the intersection of NE 3rd St & Biscayne Blvd. We will walk into the Fan Zone together.
Location may change as more information becomes available. Please RSVP to ensure you receive any updates.
โ Why We're Taking Action:
โ๏ธโ๐ฅ Broken Promises: Unilever promised to eliminate battery cages from their GLOBAL supply chains in 2025 for all their brands ... and they haven't done it.
๐ Inhumane Conditions: Chickens in battery cages can't even turn around or stretch their wings.
๐ Global Movement: These conditions are so cruel they've been banned in multiple countries and US states and it's time to end cages across the world.
๐ฏ Corporate Responsibility: Corporations have the power to end this abuse. It's time they listen.
๐ข What to Expect:
A peaceful and powerful public protest involving chickens with a sporting chance, referees blowing the whistle on Unilever's fowl play, and opportunities for everyone to score against Unilever!
Banners and signs provided
Leafleting, and engaging with the public.
Opportunity to connect with fellow activists and learn more about the campaign.
๐ง No protest experience needed โ just a need to speak up for animals!
Bring a friend, bring your energy, and letโs show this corporate chain that we won't stay silent while hens suffer.
๐จ RSVP today and be part of the growing movement for animals!
