VIVA! Eastbourne Vegan Outreach

We will be in Eastbourne Town Centre with our VIVA! Vegan Outreach stall, focusing again on the 'Cracked' campaign highlighting the exploitation of the 43 million UK hens. The laying hen is probably the most abused animal on earth, forced to produce 20 to 50 more eggs than they would normally, day after day in appalling conditions. Most of the hens that aren't confined to cages spend their entire lives inside crowded barn systems. Free range really isn't much better. We will have lots of information on the stall about the egg industry from VIVA!'s investigations and handing out tasty vegan food samples.
