4th of July Vegan Potluck Palooza

We're getting together for Potluck Palooza, and we'd love for you to join us! This is a summer celebration of plant-based potlucks hosted by Building Healthy Communities throughout June and July, and our local meetup is happening on July 4th from Noon until 2 PM. It's gonna be a great afternoon to share some fantastic food, get outside, and connect with local people. We're hoping to grab the Gazebo at the Marvwell Peeps Boat Launch area, located between Caldwell Park and Lake Redding Park. Here is the rundown for the day: Finding Us: Park in the large main lot. If we aren't at the Gazebo, just walk over to the right under the train trestle, and you'll find us set up on the lawn. The Food: Please bring a vegan dish to share. Include a card listing the ingredients for your dish. We have some folks with allergies (wheat and gluten are the only known ones so far), so this helps everyone out. Eating Setup: Bring your own place setting, including plates, cups, and utensils. Seating & Shade: Grab your own chair or a blanket to sit on. If you have a folding table or a shade canopy you wanna bring along, we would gladly put it to use. Staying Cool: Be prepared for hot summer weather. We're right by the boat ramp, so we can easily wade in the water to cool off.
