About this event
People vs. Big Pork is a national town-hall co-hosted by Compassion in World Farming and The Humane League as part of a broader coalition effort to stop the Save Our Bacon Act from being included in the Farm Bill.
Featuring Matthew Dominguez, Executive Director of CIWF US; Dan Shannon, CEO of The Humane League; and Leah Garcés, former U.S. Director of Compassion in World Farming and former CEO of Mercy For Animals, the webinar will break down what the Save Our Bacon Act would do, who is behind it, why the Senate is the critical battleground right now, and how advocates can take action.
Big Pork is trying to use the Farm Bill to wipe out state animal welfare protections. Together, we can stop them.
