Volunteer Orientation + Work Day & Vegan Potluck Join us at Shy 38 Inc. for a meaningful day of connection, learning, and hands-on impact! Sunday, May 17 11:00 AM – 2:00 PMWe’ll kick things off with a brief volunteer orientation, perfect for new and returning volunteers who want to get involved and learn more about how things run here at the sanctuary.After that, we’ll roll up our sleeves for a work day focused on our sanctuary transformation project—helping us create safer, more sustainable spaces for our animal residents. Vegan Potluck:Please bring a vegan dish to share (no animal products, including meat, dairy, eggs, or honey). This is a great chance to connect, share food, and build community. Important Info:• All participants will be required to sign an accident waiver upon arrival• Kids are welcome!• Children must be supervised at all times• For safety, only those 18+ are allowed in large animal areas Whether you're brand new or have been here before, we’d love to have you join us. Every helping hand makes a difference for the animals who call Shy 38 home.Be sure to wear boots/clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty!
