Hastings VIVA! Vegan Outreach

We will be in Hastings old town with our VIVA! Vegan Outreach stall, focusing on the Egg industry and the exploitation of the 43 million UK hens. The laying hen is probably the most abused animal on earth, forced to produce eggs day after day in appalling conditions. More than 7 million are confined in cages and over 30 million trapped in so called free range farms. Millions more spend their entire lives inside crowded barn systems. We will have lots of information on the stall about the egg industry and handing out tasty vegan food samples. We will also be providing supportive information for those who want to transition to a more compassionate diet and not support this cruel industry.
