About this event

NARN is pleased to welcome author, Kathryn Gillespie, who will talk about her new book "The Sound of Feathers" The event will be at Cafe Red, and Katie will talk about her book, invite Q&A from the audience, and then we hope you will all stick around to have lunch at the delicious (and all vegan Cafe Red). Through vivid storytelling and deeply personal reflections, The Sound of Feathers: Attentive Living in a World Beyond Ourselves invites readers to pay attention to, and reflect on, the often fraught and overlooked relationships we have with other animals in our everyday lives. Stories from Gillespie's own life shed light on larger questions about the harms animals experience as a result of human use.
