Wildflower Train Ride leaves Jamestown Railtown 1897 State Historic Park at 3:30 but be there at 3:00 pm to sign in. Please purchase your ticket asap as space is limited. Tickets $28.00. You have choice of one of 3 different cars - Coach, Sierra Car #599 or Sierra Car #597. BUT I suggest you get tickets for #597 which can accommodate groups and has moveable chairs. Car #597 is the car I and several others will be on. Call Railtown (209) 984-3953 or go on line to purchase your ticket. After train ride, we may stop at Oakdale on way home to dine at Cocina Michoacana which has both a carnivore menu and a vegan menu. You have to ask for the vegan menu.
