Industry Standard Listening Event

What does an undercover investigation sound like? For more than three decades, Gemunu has investigated animal industries around the world. Alongside the images and footage, he was also recording something else, the sound of hidden places: machinery, animals, voices and the strange atmospheres of spaces rarely heard by the public. This event at Oxford's main independent record store explores how those covert recordings were later transformed into Industry Standard, a sonic art album built entirely from the soundscape of undercover investigations.
