About this event

Please join local PETA supporters for a peaceful protest at the grand opening of Raising Cane’s to stand up for chickens and raise awareness about the horrific suffering these animals go through before ending up in fast-food bags. Chickens are among the most abused animals on the entire planet. In the United States alone, approximately 9 billion chickens are killed for their flesh each year. The vast majority of these animals spend their entire lives in confinement—from the moment they hatch until the day they are slaughtered. Please join us to speak up for chickens and encourage everyone to go vegan! Here are the details:WHEN: Thursday, March 19, 2026, 7:30 AM - 9:30 AMWHERE: Raising Cane's - 6933 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028(https://maps.app.goo.gl/kuQPEhgBL8BuQLu68)CONTACT: Mason Melito at MasonM@peta.org We have a required dress code! Please dress sharply in a PETA T-shirt (we will provide one if you don't already own one), nice pants, and close-toed shoes. We must ensure that the focus remains on the animals without any distractions that could shift people’s attention. All materials, such as posters, will be provided. Please refrain from bringing dogs, as there might not be a comfortable place for them to lie down during the protest. I hope to see you there!
