About this event

Dr. Arlene Lazaro, DO is triple board-certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine. She is co-founder of Kaya Lifestyle Medicine, which focuses on helping people improve pain, mobility, metabolic health, and long-term function through evidence-based, practical care. In this talk, Dr. Lazaro will explain what chronic pain is, why it can continue over time, and what strategies can help people feel and function better. Dr. Lazaro will also be joined by EA Lazaro, Mayo Clinic–trained Health & Wellness Coach and co-founder of Kaya Lifestyle Medicine, who will share a brief practical perspective on building realistic, sustainable health habits. Please join us in Surprise, AZ on the second Sunday of the month to enjoy delicious plant-based dishes and meaningful conversations. Bring your favorite plant-based dish and a printed or written recipe to share. If you don’t have time to prepare a dish, please still come to connect with others! No cost. Donations are welcome.
