Get your hands dirty and learn the fun tricks to kickstart your garden from seed to sprout!
Topics to be covered in this workshop will include:-The benefits of starting your own seeds-Where to source quality seeds-How to select the right varieties for your garden-Options for making or finding seed-starting supplies-When and how to begin seeds indoors-Which seeds to plant directly in the garden—and the best timing for doing so
Participants will receive helpful handouts, and there will be ample time for questions and discussion.
pattrice jones is an experienced veganic gardener with more than 30 years of expertise in growing vegetables from seed. A member of the STL Board of Trustees, Pattrice is also a co-founder of VINE Sanctuary, a local nonprofit that supports and sustains the Free Seed Library.
