Austin Aquarium Protest

*SIGNS WILL BE PROVIDED - but please feel free to bring your own if you'd like (Austin Aquarium - https://maps.app.goo.gl/eCM9drvLcT2vWkxB8) facing Research Blvd. *The sidewalk is public property, we will meet and protest there. Don't forget to bring a hat, sunblock, water as there is no shade on the sidewalk. Parking is available across the street (Anderson Mill) in the other shopping center (at your own risk). The animals (mammals, primates, birds, fish, sharks, stingrays, reptiles) at this business, an unaccredited aquarium, are on display and forced into touching encounters all day every day all while lacking appropriate veterinary care. Many of these animals have suffered injuries and died at the hands of the owners, convicted wildlife traffickers (the Covino family). There have also been numerous animal attacks on guests and staff. Together we can empower the public to not support this place and place the animals in reputable sanctuaries.
