February is for LOVE, not LONELINESS!

In February, we celebrate love, but in #Lincolnwood, ripping sentient beings from their families and homes and forcing them to live lonely lives in incredibly unnatural environments for more than 3 decades is business as usual. Please join the Chicago Alliance for Animals (CAA) in front of The Animal Store as we continue to urge this menagerie to allow Spur, the African tortoise, to get out of her tiny prison and go to sanctuary in Arizona, where she can feel sunshine, a warm breeze, burrow and dig, roam at will, and be around others of her kind, if she so chooses. Please also help us urge this shady shop to stop selling ALL animals and transition to a humane model where animals are no longer sold, but rather adopted out through local animal shelters and rescues. These animals need our voices, so please join us for 1 short hour. Hopefully, it will be as warm as it was today, but if not, we will have hand warmers for anyone who wants/needs one.
