About this event

Join us for a lively panel discussion with six vegan activists working in different corners of the movement. Panelists don’t necessarily agree on every issue—but they do agree on the value of respectful, thoughtful conversation. Together, they’ll share perspectives from their own work, what’s been effective (or challenging), and how they’re thinking about advocacy right now. 👉 Sign up to watch live, and you’ll receive a replay link if you can’t attend in real time. We hope you’ll join us and also encourage your friends to attend. Panelists: Jason Bolalek, Animal Care Manager, Animal Place Sanctuary (Petaluma) Amber Canavan, Associate Director of Vegan Campaigns, PETA Jack Gescheidt, Founder, TreeSpirit Project David Michelson, Founder, Oregon’s Initiative Petition 28 (IP-28) Mike Rupena, Lead Organizer, Anonymous for the Voiceless (SF Chapter) Lia Wilbourn, Farmed Animals Campaign Coordinator, In Defense of Animals
