Economics of Animal Welfare Conference

Our next conference will be held on June 29–30, 2026 at the University of Chicago. This annual event is organized by the Animal Welfare Economics Working Group. Call for Abstracts: We are now accepting submissions for abstracts and ideas-in-progress on any topic that bears on the economics of animal welfare. For more information, or to submit an abstract for consideration, click here. The event is free and open to the public; however, registration is required. General attendance registration will open in mid-January, when the call for abstracts closes. This page will be updated with a link to the registration form. A list of speakers and tentative agenda is to be announced.
