VSDC Book Club discusses “Agent Josephine” (online)

Please join the Veg Society of DC Book Club discussion of “Agent Josephine: American Beauty, French Hero, British Spy” by Damien Lewis. This meeting will take place online, via zoom. “Josephine Baker moved from St. Louis to France in the early 1920s and quickly became a highly successful entertainer … Lewis's biography captures another facet of Baker: her role as a spy for the Allied Forces during World War II.” — Library Journal To participate read at least half the book — and RSVP at least two days before the meeting.
