Raw Vegan Meetup

Join us as we celebrate raw vegan foods and cultivate meaningful connections with others. Bring something raw vegan to share, and let's enjoy the vibrancy of living foods! What: Raw Vegan Meetup Where: Near Miller Hill in Hermann Park, 6000 Hermann Park Dr, Houston, TX 77030 (backup location in case of rain or extreme cold: JuiceLand, 1340 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77006) Parking: Most parking at Hermann Park is free, but it tends to fill up quickly. Arriving early is recommended. When: Nov 8, 1pm-3:30pm-ish What to Bring: Any raw vegan food is welcome. You can keep it simple and just bring some fruit if you like. Please do not bring cooked vegan food. (Foods heated above 118°F are generally considered not raw.) Organic is preferred but if you don’t have access to organic, bring whatever you have. If possible, wash produce beforehand in water or briefly with baking soda. You may also want to bring a blanket to lay out on the grass.
