Day with the Turkeys Tour and Explore at the Refuge!

We celebrate our animal residents 365 days out of the year, but our special Day With the Turkeys shines a light on these smart, charismatic, beautiful birds. This Tour also includes Turkey Trivia, a raffle, turkey sponsorship opportunities, and, of course, special treats for our turkey VIPs. We are extra excited this year, because we get to introduce our newest turkey residents just in time for the party: the magical Minerva, Merlin, and Morgana. You’ll also meet all our other farm animal residents and learn their rescue stories! Upon arrival, each group will receive a colorful, detailed map of the Refuge grounds. Wander at your own pace along several paths, meeting rescued goats, sheep, ducks, geese, chickens, turkeys, and cows! Our knowledgeable Tour Guides will be stationed throughout the Refuge to tell enchanting stories of animal rescues, introducing you to each animal by name. While visiting, don’t miss our serene curved brick animal memorial, unique architectural designs, and our beautiful Pavilion, where you can find Refuge merchandise for purchase and learn more about our mission.
