Fur Free Thrift

𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡 𝗨𝗣 𝗧𝗢 𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗘𝗥: https://dash.pointapp.org/events/449241 We’re organizing a fur-free thrift event! Volunteers will break into teams of four, with an ARC leader in each vehicle, and we'll visit thrift stores in Minneapolis to encourage them to adopt a fur-free policy for the items they put on the shelves. Each team will be equipped with materials explaining why refusing to sell secondhand fur is an ethical and impactful choice, along with an actionable alternative. We'll encourage them to commit to becoming an affiliate of the ARC Cuddle Coats program. When they get a fur in stock, they can contact us and we'll pick up the unwanted furs, which will then be repurposed to benefit orphaned, injured, or sick wildlife in rehabilitation centers across the country. To support participating stores, we’re also developing a window cling that lets them proudly display their commitment to compassionate retail practices.
