Makeup Application & Vegan Zombie Walk ft. The Vegan Zombie himself!

Calling all artists! Graaaaaaiiiiinnnnnsssss...... Reviving the Toronto Zombie Walk and claiming it (a scaled-back vegan-style version) as our own as just one of the ways Wishbone Animal Rights Lab is celebrating World Vegan Day Weekend 2025! And The Vegan Zombie himself, Chris Cooney, is gonna be in Da Lab! You have our permission to take the afternoon off work (hey, it's Halloween falling on a Friday!) to slather yourself in pancake makeup, latex, and fake blood, and then join other lurching corpses as they make their way along the streets of Toronto -- moaning, growling, and lunging at confused and terrified office workers, children, senior citizens, and other unsuspecting folk. Makeup, clothing, and "blood" will be provided at this pay-what-you-can event supporting Wishbone Animal Rights Lab and The Lab, our vegutainment, business, and events centre. ***********************************************After the walk, return to The Lab (108 Dundas Street West, 2nd Floor) for "finger foods" (get it?!) and a screening, courtesy of the International Vegan Film Festival, of Chris Cooney's horror thriller "A44" -- where a small town's past bites back. Perfect for a night when creatures of the underworld and the undead can walk among us undetected. And then enjoy some music, karaoke, dancing, and cackling…well, until 10:00 p.m. or so (we have the V-COP 23 conference to set up for the next morning!).
