An Immense World is a 2022 non-fiction book by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Ed Yong that explores the diverse sensory experiences of animals, highlighting senses like electroreception, magnetic field navigation, and heightened olfactory capabilities that are beyond human perception. The book reveals the "hidden realms" animals inhabit, challenging readers to move beyond their own sensory limitations and appreciate a broader understanding of life on Earth. Whether you're a seasoned activist or a curious newcomer, all are welcome to join the Animal Rights Collective Portland (ARCPDX) Book Club!
